The Iron Blosam Lodge is named after a historic Little Cottonwood Mining Claim “Iron Blosam,” hence the phonetic spelling. Iron Blosam’s décor in its hallways and elevator lobbies display historic mining artifacts and vintage skis.
Iron Blosam was fully opened in the fall of 1975, although there was some occupancy during final phases of construction in 1974.
All rooms have coffee makers, Irons and Ironing Boards. DVD/VCR players. Check out items to supplement your kitchen inventory, CD players, blenders crock pots and other specialty items are available for check out from the Housekeeping Office.
Iron Blosam is just a short walk to the Wilbere Ski Lift. The resort shuttle services also drops guests minutes away from the lodge.
