Located in a prime location on main street over looking the lower Alpen ski run. The Hirafutei offers standard rooms, deluxe rooms with private onsen, or traditional Japanese-style rooms.


Most rooms in the Hirafutei are Japanese style, meaning thin futon mattresses on the floor. It is possible to book western style rooms however, these rooms must be arranged in advance. If no preference is given, then it is likely that a Japanese style room will be allocated. The deluxe rooms come with a 'Rotenburo' (private balcony onsen).

The best feature of the Hirafutei is its popular onsen with great views of the Family Ski Run, this is free for guests to use however, the public must pay 800 yen to use this onsen.

The Hirafutei's prime location provides guests with easy access to the ski runs, with the Ace Family chairlift just a short ski from the hotel. There is also a rear walkway from the ski room and dining area taking you directly to the slopes.
