Getting to Vail is easy!
Vail is located in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, just 100 miles west of Denver and just 35 miles east of Eagle.

Airport/Resort Transfers
Colorado Mountain Express (CME) provide a first class door to door transportation service between, Vail, Denver & Eagle. CME meet numerous daily flights to and from Denver International Airport, and meeting all flights at Eagle Airport. CME has a Fleet of 120 late model 10-passenger shuttle vans, Privately chauffeured four wheel drive SUVs, sedans and executive vans also available through CME Premier.

Car Hire
Travelplan can pre book all of your car hire needs at the time you make your booking, car hire pick up and drop off locations are available at both Denver International Airport and Eagle.

Driving Directions
Denver International Airport
- Travel West on Interstate 70, follow the signage to the Main Vail Exit (#176) where most lodging, parking and access to the mountain can be found. East and West Vail can also be easily accessed by exits (#180 and #173) just before and after the Main Vail Exit.

Eagle Airport - Take North Airport Road to US HWY 6. Turn right on US Highway 6 then merge onto I-70 East. Follow the I-70 East to the Main Vail Exit.

Around Town
Town of Vail FREE Buses run regularly between the eastern end of Vail Village and the western end of LionsHead. Scheduled buses to East Vail and West Vail run frequently also.

Vail to Avon & Beaver Creek
ECO Transit operates a bus service between Vail, Beaver Creek and Avon. Buses leave from the Vail Transportation Centre and run 6am. to 2am. Cost is $3 - $5 each way.

Resort to Resort Transfers
Want to check out some of the other great Vail Resorts in the area? Jump on the Vail Express in the morning and spend the day skiing Breckenridge or Keystone.
Maximum Capacity 80 passengers on two busses Mon-Fri and 40 passengers on one bus Sat-Sun. Reservations are strongly suggested as schedule is based upon demand.
The Vail Express also reserve the right to cancel during severely inclement weather.
