From beginner to advanced or small children to adults, NISS has a program to suit your needs and the team will have you skiing and boarding to the best of your ability in no time.

NISS is Japan’s newest and most creative Snowsports School that has a progressive kids and youth program that is backed by an international team of expert instructors.

Tictac kids will be thrilled with the indoor facility that is situated directly adjacent the protected learning slopes. In addition, NISS has a fun filled and innovative terrain park to suit skiers and boarders.

All Day programs have lunch inclusive.

MILO Tictac Kids Club (3-6years)
The Milo Tictac Kids Club is pure fun, whether it’s their first time or they can already ski.

Your child will be taught under the safety of a qualified NISS instructor who ensures they have the best guidance and care required. Registration for all Kids Club lessons for 3-6yrs is from 8.45am

MILO Yuki Workshop (7-14years)

The Milo Yuki workshops are the place for kids to have fun and action, you will find yourself exploring the entire mountain, riding a radical terrain park and enjoying the powder.

This program is designed to ensure you will get the most out of your experience by gaining essential skiing and boarding skills and having loads of fun within a safe learning environment and expert supervision.

Grading for morning programs & lessons is at 9:15am.

Registration for Kids

NOTE: We suggest you arrive 15min prior to the start of your lesson.Pick up for Tictac Kids & Yuki Workshops is between 12:30pm-12: 50pm or 3:40pm- 4:00pm.

All morning lessons begin at 9.30am.

What to wear

Children are sensitive to extreme conditions, so it is important that they come prepared with the appropriate clothing and accessories so they can enjoy skiing and boarding in safety and comfort.

Single or multi day class lessons are available for all levels of skiers and boarders.You'll be amazed at the incredible difference a week’s lessons can make.

Adult Skiing Classes

Class Lessons are great fun and a wonderful way to meet new people and most of all improve your technique.

Your NISS instructor will have you enjoying the best terrain
and developing your skills so you can move tothat next level. Whether it’s your first time or you are an expert, NISS will refine your skills so you can get themost out of your ski holiday.

The NISS teaching structure is divided into 5 levels and will guide you as to what’s ideal.

Adult Boarding Classes

Snowboarding with a group is always a blast and you’re experienced NISS pro will have you carving up the

best runs, hitting the terrain park and floating through deep powder in no time.

There are 5 levels and your pro will ensure you are placed in the appropriate class.

Ability Levels Skiers
First Time
Level 1 - Can make a straight Snowplough
Level 2 - Can make snowplough turns and ski green runs
Level 3 - Can make stem Christies on easy red runs
Level 4 - Can make parallel turns with a pole plant on all red runs and easy black runs
Level 5 - Expert Level Skiers can make strong parallel turns on black runs and ski the whole mountain competently


Ability Levels Snowboarders
First Time
Level 1 - Refining basic stance and learning how to turn
Level 2 - Turning - Refining turn shape on easy red runs

Level 3 - Intermediate - Intro to more advanced terrain, jumps and freestyle
Level 4 - Advanced - Working on your carving, freestyle and freeriding
Level 5 - Expert Level Boarders - All terrain freestyle and freeriding

For the ultimate in personalised improvement, you can’t go past a NISS private lesson, have your very own NISS Pro, limmited to 4 persons per instructor.

Private Lesson Options, Your choice of time, meeting place, terrain and technique you want to cover, Choice of the following disciplines, Skiing, Snowboarding, Telemarking, Racing, Terrain Park & Halfpipe

With the individual attention of your instructor combined with your requests, they will get you on the road to quickly fulfilling your goals in an enjoyable and safe environment.

Private Lessons do not include lift tickets and reservations are strongly recommended. 

Kazoku (Family) Explorer Program
Here’s a great opportunity to ski and /or board with your entire family and enjoy valuable guiding andinstruction at the same time…..a real family event.

Team Technical

Grab a group of friends and create your own skiing or boarding lesson. You can tour the entire resort

while receiving advice and guidance from an instructor of your choice.

Minimum is 5 or more persons.

Whether it’s your first or third time, this five day program will deliver fun, knowledge and improve your powder skills in a group environment.

NISS Mini Private (Free)
Need some exhilaration in your skiing or boarding or if you are unsure of which program to take or what level you are at, try the NISS mini private. An instructor will meet you and take you for a 10 minute private to evaluate your abilities.

Meet at the NISS private sign at the meeting area on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 4pm from December 12.
