Valdez Heli Ski Guides caters to advanced and expert skiers and riders. You don't need to be an extreme skier, but you need to be capable of skiing black diamond terrain in a variety of snow conditions. Your guide will choose the appropriate terrain for you and your group's ability level.
The terrain accessed is some of the most exciting heli-ski terrain ever imaginable. With over 2,500 square miles of mountains to choose from, you are always able to find excellent skiing.
The terrain consists of glaciers, powder bowls, couloirs, ramps and big mountain faces. The maritime snow that falls in the region is notorious for allowing you to ski terrain that other operations would only dream of. The terrain is catered to advanced and expert skiers. When conditions permit. Runs are typically 3 - 5km, with the longest run being over 6.5km long!
